Tamanohada - Welcome Fish Soap
The playful creation of a 120-year-old Japanese soap company, this extra-large soap on a rope was made on a kashigata – an intricately fashioned wooden mold. The kashigata in question? A huge red snapper!
A symbol of luck and good fortune, the red snapper – in dense, creamy soap form – is the ultimate housewarming or thank-you gift. Vibrant and eye-catching, it moonlights as statement decor between uses. The soothing lily scent – and naturally moisturizing palm oil formula – will leave your bathroom smelling fresh and your hands silky smooth.
Tamanohada soaps are made from entirely plant based material, from palm oil and palm pit oil. This soap series is made to give your skin an extra gentle care, and thus could be used for washing your body and also your face. It's texture is between liquid and milk, leaving a delicate moisturize protection and scent to your skin.
Leaving your soap on a small dish will also lightly perfume your bathroom.
Available in Lily (White) and Pomegranate (Red)
Founded in 1892, Tamanohada is one of the oldest soap company in Japan. Based in Tokyo, they debuted by producing soaps for schools and hospitals. In 2003, they started their first line of branded soaps, with a popularity growing year by year.
