LASTFRAME - Alphabet Scarf Lavender & Navy
Uses original textile silk made using crest textile technology with a history of over 120 years. A bee motif woven pattern is applied to the entire surface. The print uses traditional scarf manufacturing techniques, and each piece is hand-wound by a craftsman. It features a soft texture that can only be expressed in Japanese production.
Please note: The silk used in the product is made of very delicate natural fibres, so some colour unevenness, stains, scratches, etc. may be seen. Some errors may occur in the production process for the listed dimensions. Please note.
Launched in 2018, through the designer’s rich international cultural experience “LASTFRAME” expresses it’s passion for “Made in Japan”. Focusing on traditional craftsmanship gradually disappearing in parts of Japan, designer Takanohiro Okude reinterprets and reapplies the craft through his modern and unique designs honed through his previous design backgrounds.
The brand aspires to create designs that are borderless, timeless, and non-binary. The silk scarves which are the brand’s representative item, are woven in the designer’s hometown in Ishikawa prefecture, using a time-honoured jacquard weaving technique which has been passed down for over 120 years.
