Hakuhodo Sumitani Saburo Shoten - Incense Holder
This minimalist incense holder is a miniature work of art designed by Hakuhodo Sumitani Saburo, a metallurgical house with a heritage of more than 400 years of Japanese know-how.
The weighted ball is accompanied by a brass base which allows you to orient the angle of your incense stick as you want. It has two openings of different diameters to adapt to Japanese (1/8 "") or Indian (1/16 "") incense and must be placed on a tray to collect the ashes.
Sumitani Saburo Shōten was founded in 1939 in Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture, where copper smelting has been a major industry for over 400 years. Heir to this Japanese know-how, Sumitani Saburo Shōten creates a wide variety of household and decorative items by combining original moldings and new metal processing technologies (iron, aluminum, tin and brass).
