| /

A true warm weather essential – the STRAP TOP is a light and feminine piece. Made from crisp and breathable organic cotton poplin, this top is sure to keep you cool and comfortable. Designed with thoughtful details in mind, like a tie closure in the back, delicate eyelet detailing on the seams, and rounded hems. With the relaxed shape and adjustable straps, you will feel comfortable and confident in the STRAP TOP. Wear it with the DOLLY shorts for a darling matching set, or pair it with your favourite bottoms for a casual summer look.

Fit Guide

The STRAP TOP has a slightly oversized yet true to size fit. We recommend selecting your normal size.

Aiayu do not believe it is necessary to wash their products before use for safety or toxicity purposes. As a matter of fact, they advocate for reduced washings, as each laundry cycle requires a significant amount of energy and water. Instead, air out your garments to give them a fresh feeling, and only wash when it is absolutely necessary.

Environmental Ethos

Aiayu’s ethos from the beginning has been to actively reduce and avoid chemical additions to their products for the sake of the planet, their customers, and the people who make their clothes. As a matter of principle, they aim to keep their products as close to nature as possible.

Aiayu’s cotton items are organic and GOTS certified, which means that each step of the supply chain – from seed to final garment – is rigorously assessed and inspected for toxicity and chemical safety. A large proportion of Aiayu’s knits are undyed, using only the existing shade of the natural fibres. When they do choose to dye, it is always done with AZO free and EU REACH standard dyes to ensure the safety their customers and production partners.

Brand Description

Bolivia is where AIAYU started in 2004 where the Danish founder Maria Høgh Heilmann fell in love with a remarkable people whose legacy of craftsmanship with llama wool – an exquisite yet little known material to outsiders – inspired her journey to build a sustainable supply chain which would respect the Bolivian people and environment.
